Vrykolakas are undead creatures akin to modern zombies of the western world, having been unable to enter the Underworld due to some form of sacrilege, including improper burial rituals. A Vrykolaka is then created when the shade returns to its felled body, whereupon it develops a particular hunger for human flesh and blood - particularly favoring the liver.
Hecate summons several Vrykolakas from the crossroads upon escaping imprisonment on the moon, however they can only be interacted with utilizing specialized gloves which utilize electromagnetic sensors to interact with virtual images, as the crossroads had been formed using two virtual connection links. While some of the Vrykolakas do escape the theatre, they are quickly dispatched by the likes of Herry using the aforementioned gloves.
