Cronus, the God of Time, has been imprisoned in Tartarus for four thousand years. But when all of the planets come into perfect alignment at midnight on New Year's Day, it provides him with the power he needs in order to escape. Now loose in the world with an army of giants behind him, Cronus intends to conquer and destroy the world.
While The Gods of Olympus no longer have the power to stop Cronus on their own, they bring together seven teenage descendants of heroes from Greek mythology. Under the guidance of the gods, these chosen ones are the only ones with the power to save the world from the encroaching evil.
