Cronus captures Herry's grandmother to lure him to the Temple of Prometheus.
Pandora was the first human woman created by the deities, specifically by Hephaestus and Athena on the instructions of Zeus. Each of the deities helped create her by giving her unique gifts. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mold her out of earth as part of the punishment of humanity for Prometheus's theft of the secret of fire, and all of them joined in offering her "seductive gifts."
The heroes explore Temple of Prometheus where Theresa says she sensed Cronus. The Temple was left in the care of one Cronus's giants. The giant was delivered to Campe and she in-turn gave the heroes information on Cronus' objective, but she knew nothing about the Tablet of Prometheus.
Odie agreed to research the importance of the tablet, so he explores Zeus' supply cabinet, looking for a timepiece, and found it. He provides his friends with a list of all the temples built in honor of Prometheus, a list of locations that Cronus would undoubtedly search.
Archie discovers that Odie has been using a device, but the two of them stop time and when it resumes, Cronus appears with stone golems and the Tablet of Prometheus.
Odie and Archie eventually have to destroy the timepiece and return the world to its rightful timestream. And Cronus ends up with the wrong tablet.
Cronus steals the Deucalion's Chest from archeologists. Fortunately, the key to the chest was kept away from it. Jay says that Deucalion was the son of Prometheus and figures out that the key must be hidden somewhere at the Temple of Prometheus.
Mythology[]
Prometheus is a Titan, culture hero, and trickster figure who is credited with the creation of humanity from clay, and who defies The Gods by stealing fire and giving it to humanity as civilization. Prometheus is known for his intelligence and as a champion of humankind and also seen as the author of the human arts and sciences generally.
The punishment of Prometheus as a consequence of the theft is a major theme of his. Zeus sentenced the Titan to eternal torment for his transgression. The immortal was bound to a rock, where each day an eagle, (the emblem of Zeus), was sent to eat Prometheus' liver, which would then grow back overnight to be eaten again the next day. In ancient Greece, the liver was often thought to be the seat of human emotions. Prometheus was eventually freed by the hero Heracles.
Tantalus offered his guests the ambrosia, a theft akin to that of Prometheus.
