Atlas is a native Titan of Atlantis. He is the supporter of the Pillars of the Sky.

Physical Appearance[]

Atlas looks like a middle-aged man of taller height. Due to his position of holding the sky, his arms are rather muscular. He has a slight pot belly and brown hair and facial hair with some gray.

Personality[]

Despite being a Titan deity, Atlas is rather kind and helpful. During his debut appearance, he helped the teens understand what the Antikythera Device was and what could happen when used by the wrong person.

He also has somewhat of a silly side as when Odie located Atlantis, he confirms the teen is right and that he himself didn't say anything sooner because he was not asked.

Role in the Series[]

Atlas is a Titan and native of Atlantis. He usually supports the Pillars of the Sky, though once in a while, Atlas needs a back massage and chiropractic care from Pleione because holding the sky is a "pain in the back".

Atlas was sought out by the chosen teens since his name had been dropped by Cronus before he took the astrolabe. Atlas informed the teens of the Antikythera Device and the dangerous power it possesses. He also informs them that the astrolabe is the key to activate the machine and that the machine itself is located in the lost city of Atlantis.

After speaking with them, he appears to have informed Hera of their intentions but confirmed that Odie had pinpointed the exact location of Atlantis, stating that he did not say anything about this sooner simply because he was not asked.

In mythology[]

Atlas was the Primordial Titan who supported the heavens. Atlas was the son of the Titan Iapetus and the Oceanid Asia or Klyménē.

Trivia[]

  • He tells the heroes that Atlantis and the Atlantic Ocean were named after him.
